Bansdih Road: ₹165Cr Y-Shaped ROB Approved

Ending Traffic Congestion on Varanasi-Chhapra Section

For years, the existing railway crossing gate near the Five Special Railway Crossing has been a major bottleneck, causing significant traffic congestion on the Varanasi-Chhapra rail section. To tackle this issue, the Indian Railways, in partnership with the state government and Setu Nigam (Bridge Corporation), has proposed the construction of a sophisticated Y-shaped Road Over Bridge (ROB).
