The operation period for the Barauni and Darbhanga special trains to New Delhi has been significantly extended by the Northeast Railway. Passengers will note that there are no changes to the operational timings, stoppages, and routes of these extended special trains, ensuring a seamless journey experience without any confusion regarding schedules. The extension brings a total of 88 additional trips for each of these key routes, helping to effectively manage heavy passenger crowds and waitlists during peak travel seasons.
Train number 02563 Barauni-New Delhi Express will now continue its operations until
30 November 2026, completing 88 additional trips. In the return direction,
train number 02564 New Delhi-Barauni Express has been extended up to
1 December 2026 with the same number of extra trips. Similarly,
train number 02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi Express is extended until
30 November 2026, while its counterpart
train number 02570 New Delhi-Darbhanga Express will run until
1 December 2026, both offering 88 additional trips each to serve the passengers efficiently.
To ensure comfortable accommodation during the extended period,
each of these trains will operate with a total of 18 coaches. The well-structured rake composition comprises
one generator-cum-luggage van, one LSLRD coach, four sleeper class coaches, five AC 3-tier economy class coaches, and seven standard AC 3-tier coaches. This balanced mix of sleeper and air-conditioned accommodation is designed to cater to diverse passenger preferences and budgets, making long-distance travel between Bihar and Delhi much more convenient for families, daily commuters, and holiday travellers alike.
