The project includes the construction of a new station building and a second entry point for better access towards Mill Colony. A large circulating area of 10,000 square meters is being developed to manage traffic flow efficiently. Passengers will soon have access to modern waiting halls, including VIP lounges, baby feeding rooms, and pay-and-use toilets.

Current status and technical upgrades of the project

Work is currently in its concluding phases, focusing on the completion of the foot overbridge and final touches to the circulating area. Most internal works, such as painting, booking windows, and platform improvements, are already finished. Officials from the Ajmer Division have directed the team to accelerate the remaining tasks to ensure the station is fully operational with its new look shortly.
