Bhabhua Railway Crossing in Jalaun Closes for Two Days for Maintenance Work

Commuters traveling through the Jalaun district need to plan their journeys carefully as a vital railway crossing is scheduled for temporary closure. Essential maintenance work will soon restrict vehicular movement at this location, prompting authorities to issue advance notices and suggest alternative routes for daily travelers and nearby villagers. The Bhabhua railway crossing number 190 on the Bhabhua Ata Usargaon road will remain closed on Tuesday August 25 2026 and Wednesday August 26 2026. The closure will be enforced daily between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Senior Section Engineer Syed Muhammad Talha Arif confirmed the schedule for track maintenance. Commuters are advised to use the Ata railway crossing number 189 or the Jolhupur gate number 194 as alternative routes. Around 5000 villagers from Bhabhua Piprayan Akbarpur and Itaura will be impacted as they rely on this route for access to the local tehsil police station and market. Local residents Ashish Kushwaha and Deependra Bhaskar expressed concerns over an additional five kilometer journey leading to increased travel time and higher fuel expenses.
