Bhinmal Overbridge Traffic Suspended: Check Diversion Routes!

Commuters and travelers in the Jalore district of Rajasthan need to plan their journeys with extra care. Traffic movement on the Bhinmal Railway Overbridge, situated on the Ramsin-Bhinmal-Raniwara State Highway-31, is set to be completely suspended on October 17, 2026.
Why is the Overbridge Being Closed?
The suspension is necessary to facilitate critical slab casting work. This construction is a vital component of the ongoing Ramsin-Bhinmal-Raniwara Mega Highway Project, which is designed to enhance regional infrastructure.
The technical operations began on October 16, 2026, and are expected to wrap up by the end of the day on October 17. Once the casting process is successfully completed, regular traffic flow is scheduled to resume immediately.
Traffic Diversion Plan: How to Navigate the Closure
To manage the disruption and prevent heavy congestion, the Rajasthan State Road Development and Construction Corporation (RSRHA) has worked closely with the district administration to implement a formal traffic diversion plan.
Motorists traveling through Bhinmal city are advised to avoid the overbridge and instead follow this designated alternative route:
- Begin the detour from the Khemababa Hotel (72 Jinalaya).
- Head toward Jaswantpura Road.
- Continue through the Jaswantpura railway crossing to reach your destination.
Safety Advisory for Drivers
Authorities have strongly advised all drivers to strictly adhere to these diversionary paths. Following the designated routes is essential to ensure safety during the high-intensity construction activity and to minimize travel delays for everyone in the area.
