Bhopal Division: Major Train Cancellations & Diversions Ahead of Festivals
Passengers traveling through the Bhopal Division during the upcoming festive season may face significant travel hurdles. Indian Railways has announced a series of train cancellations and diversions due to intensive infrastructure development, including yard remodeling and the construction of third railway lines.
Massive Disruptions Due to Infrastructure Projects
To accommodate ongoing redevelopment at Kota Junction and the construction of a third line at Bina-Agasoud and Kasara, the railway administration has implemented several changes. These works are essential for long-term capacity but will impact travel schedules throughout October.
- Total Cancellations: 22 trains have been fully cancelled for the month of October.
- Route Diversions: 23 trains will be rerouted to accommodate construction.
- Kasara Work: Between October 14 and October 17, 23 trains will undergo route diversions specifically due to third-line construction at Kasara.
