20 Trains Cancelled: Major Disruptions Near Bina Station
West Central Railway (WCR) has announced a major disruption in train services, with 20 trains set to be cancelled between October 6 and October 16, 2026. The decision comes as part of essential infrastructure upgrades at the Bina facility, which will impact passengers traveling through the region.
Why is the Bina Yard Being Remodeled?
The Bhopal Division has clarified that these measures are vital for long-term rail efficiency. The work involves the construction of a third railway line between Bina Station and Agasod Station, alongside extensive yard remodeling at Bina.
This massive infrastructure project includes critical pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking phases. Once completed, the upgraded yard is expected to significantly increase capacity and ensure the smooth management of future rail traffic. Because of the technical nature of this work, both West Central Railway and North Central Railway zones will see service impacts.
