Central Railway: Intensive Ticket Checking From October 1
Central Railway has announced a massive, month-long intensive ticket-checking campaign to ensure smooth travel and prevent revenue loss during the upcoming festive season. Spanning from October 1 to October 31, 2026, this drive will cover the entire network, including all local trains and major stations.
Dr. Swapnil Nila, Chief Public Relations Officer of Central Railway, confirmed that the campaign aims to verify ticket authenticity and target specific areas of concern, such as concession tickets, reservation quotas, railway passes, and unreserved travel.
