Central Railway announces train diversions and cancellations near Pune until October 4

Central Railway has announced significant disruptions to rail services on the Pune-Hadapsar route starting from September 19 to October 4. These modifications are necessitated by essential infrastructure work for a third rail line and mandatory non-interlocking operations within the Pune and Hadapsar yards intended to enhance future rail capacity. Passengers planning to travel through this region should take note of several important updates regarding their journeys.
- Seven major trains face route changes, while others are subject to partial cancellations or rescheduling.
- Infrastructure works are underway for a new third rail line in the Pune and Hadapsar yards.
- Passengers are advised to verify travel details on the official NTES website before starting their journey.
