Indian Railways has achieved a massive breakthrough in the remote landscapes of South Chhattisgarh. The Dallirajhara-Rowghat New Rail Line Project has reached a decisive milestone with the completion of its final stretch: the Taroki-Rowghat section.
This single-line electrified broad-gauge section has successfully undergone the critical Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) inspection and speed trials, paving the way for its official commissioning.
The Final 17.5 KM Stretch: Ensuring Safety and Speed
The Taroki-Rowghat section, covering 17.5 km, is the concluding piece of the larger 95 km long Dallirajhara-Rowghat New Line Project. Managed by the Raipur Division of the South East Central Railway, this project is designed to bring much-needed connectivity to one of the most isolated regions of the state.
During the recent inspection process, officials conducted a thorough examination of the technical and safety infrastructure, including:
- Track and Alignment: Ensuring the integrity of the new broad-gauge line.
