Chittorgarh Railway Update: Additional coaches added to 17 train pairs for July travel
North Western Railway has announced new arrangements to help passengers traveling through Chittorgarh in July. To reduce the pressure of waiting lists and increase seat availability, the railway department will add extra coaches to several trains. This decision aims to make long-distance travel more comfortable for the general public.

How many extra coaches are being added in July?
Jodhpur Division Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi stated that a total of 40 extra coaches will be attached to 17 pairs of trains. This temporary arrangement will be effective from 1 July to 31 July 2026. These additional coaches include AC, Sleeper, and General categories to benefit different types of passengers.
Details of the Agra-Asarwa Special Train
To manage the summer vacation rush, a weekly special train is running between Agra Cantt and Asarwa (Ahmedabad) from 8 June to 27 July 2026. This train will stop at Chanderiya station in Chittorgarh district and will make eight trips in both directions.
