Khandesh Express Update: Dadar-Bhusawal train to run 6 days a week from August 1

Western Railway announced a major update for passengers traveling between Mumbai and Bhusawal. The Dadar-Bhusawal Khandesh Express (Train No. 19003/19004) will operate six days a week starting from August 1, 2026. This change follows requests from MP Smt. Smitatai Uday Wagh and the Dharangaon Taluka Pravasi Mandal to make travel easier for people in the Khandesh region.
🚨: Bettiah-Muzaffarpur Rail Line: Doubling work completed, trains to run from July 4।
New Schedule and Frequency
Previously, this train operated only three days a week. From August 1, 2026, Train No. 19003 will depart from Dadar every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. It will not run on Fridays. Similarly, Train No. 19004 from Bhusawal will follow the same six-day schedule, excluding Fridays. Ticket bookings for these extra trips are now open via PRS counters and the IRCTC website.
New Stoppages and Fare Benefits
To help passengers in the Palghar district, Western Railway added new halts at Boisar and Dahanu Road. Another major benefit is the removal of the special train status. This means passengers will no longer have to pay the 25-30% extra fare that was previously charged, making the journey more affordable for common commuters.
