Daliganj Railway Station: Modern redevelopment project near completion with world-class facilities

The Ministry of Railways has announced the latest progress on the redevelopment of Daliganj Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh. This project is part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, which aims to modernize railway infrastructure across India. The station is being equipped with world-class facilities to ensure a comfortable travel experience for the public. Most of the structural work, including the station facade and building, has reached completion.

What are the key features of the new Daliganj Station?

The redevelopment plan includes a modern station building and a massive circulating area. For better passenger movement, a 12-meter wide Foot Over Bridge (FOB) is under construction. Other major upgrades include improved ticket booking counters, spacious parking zones, and modern waiting rooms. The station will also have clean toilets and high-quality signage following international standards. These changes are designed to handle the increasing passenger footfall more efficiently.
