Indian Railways has upgraded the special train service operating between Danapur and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru into a permanent daily regular train. This decision by the Ministry of Railways aims to enhance passenger convenience and comfort for regular travellers on this long-distance route. The former special service numbered 03251/03252 has been officially replaced by new regular train numbers 22365/22366. The outbound service commenced operations on September 1, 2026, while the return schedule began on September 3, 2026. The route connects major cities across multiple states, serving significant stations within the West Central Railway zone such as Satna, Jabalpur, and Itarsi.
The train follows an extensive route across the country. Key halting stations include
Arrah, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Prayagraj Chheoki, Satna, Jabalpur, Itarsi Junction, Nagpur Junction, Sewagram, Chandrapur, Balharshah, Warangal, Vijayawada Junction, Ongole, Gudur Junction, Perambur, Katpadi Junction, Jolarpettai Junction, Bangarpet Junction, and Whitefield. According to the updated timetable,
train number 22365 departs from Danapur daily at 14:45. It reaches Satna at 00:10, Jabalpur at 03:25, and Itarsi at 07:20, finally arriving at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru at 14:30 on the third day of the journey. In the reverse direction,
train number 22366 departs SMVT Bengaluru daily at 23:50. It arrives at Itarsi at 05:50, Jabalpur at 09:00, and Satna at 13:00, before completing its journey by reaching Danapur at 00:15 on the fourth day.
To accommodate high passenger demand, each rake consists of
24 modern LHB coaches. The composition includes
two AC two-tier coaches, three AC three-tier coaches, ten sleeper class coaches, seven general unreserved coaches, and two LLRD guard-cum-divyangjan coaches. Passengers can now book their journeys in advance through the IRCTC portal as regular train services.
