Delhi-Hathras Trains Cancelled Amid Planned Protests

Train services connecting Hathras and the Delhi region are facing massive disruptions on October 9 and 10, 2026. This comes as a precautionary measure following a directive from the Railway Board’s coaching directorate to mitigate expected road traffic congestion caused by planned protests by the CJP group in the national capital.

The disruption has already caused significant distress for commuters. At Hathras Junction, passengers reported extreme inconvenience, with many forced to find alternative transport after waiting for hours. On October 8, approximately 5,000 passengers reportedly missed their scheduled trains due to related civil unrest and intense traffic gridlock.
