Indian Railways Operates Unreserved Janmashtami Specials Between Delhi and Ringas

Indian Railways has announced the operation of unreserved special train services between Delhi and Ringas to accommodate the surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming Janmashtami festival. Managed by the North Western Railway, this special initiative aims to assist devotees traveling to Khatu Shyam Ji in Sikar.

Train number 04415 will run from Delhi to Ringas for three trips between September 3 and September 5, 2026. This service is scheduled to depart from Old Delhi at 6:50 PM, arriving in Ringas at 12:40 AM the following day.

The return service, train number 04416, will operate from Ringas to Delhi for three trips from September 4 to September 6, 2026, departing at 2:00 AM and reaching Old Delhi at 7:00 AM.

According to Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, the trains will feature 16 coaches in total, consisting of 14 unreserved general coaches and two guard coaches, allowing passengers to travel easily using a standard general ticket.

Route and Station Stops

In both directions, the special trains will make scheduled stops at Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Delhi Cantt, Gurugram, Pataudi Road, Rewari, Narnaul, and Nim Ka Thana railway stations. The inclusion of strategic stops at Gurugram and Pataudi Road is specially intended to provide convenient transit benefits to passengers within the Gurugram region during the festive rush.
