Delhi-Saharanpur Rail Line: Doubling project gets green signal, 1000 crore budget approved for phase one
The Indian Railways has given the green signal for the doubling of the Delhi-Saharanpur rail route to boost connectivity and speed. This major infrastructure project aims to end the long waits for train crossings, benefiting thousands of daily commuters from Western Uttar Pradesh. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw confirmed that the work from Delhi to Shamli will be prioritized with a target to finish within three years.
