The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory for the upcoming 18th BRICS Leaders Summit scheduled from September 11 to 13, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan. Passengers traveling through the national capital must plan their journeys carefully to avoid missing their trains or flights. Here are the key highlights of the advisory for travelers: Authorities have listed 22 diversion points and over 35 controlled roads across the National Capital Region. Commuters heading to railway stations and the Indira Gandhi International Airport must allocate extra travel time and prefer using the Delhi Metro. Non-destined commercial vehicles are strictly prohibited from entering Delhi during this period. Additional CP Traffic Dinesh Kumar Gupta confirmed that extensive mobility protocols are now in place to ensure smooth movement for delegates and the general public through September 13.
