Passengers planning to travel during this festive period can now book their journeys on these newly announced services designed to ease overcrowding on popular routes. The special train services will operate under train numbers 04446 and 04445, completing a total of four trips. The announcement, confirmed on September 1, 2026, was disseminated by regional divisions including Moradabad. These trains will be equipped with a mix of AC, Sleeper, and General category coaches to serve diverse passenger requirements.

Delhi to Varanasi Special Schedule

The Delhi-Varanasi Special (04446) is scheduled to depart from Delhi at 9:10 PM on September 3 and September 5, 2026. This service will feature a route including New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Hapur, and Moradabad, where it is scheduled to arrive at 12:45 AM and depart at 12:55 AM. The route continues through Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi—where it arrives at 4:13 AM and departs at 4:15 AM—Lucknow, Ayodhya Cantt, and Jaunpur Junction, reaching Varanasi at 3:00 PM the following day.

Varanasi to Delhi Special Schedule

The Varanasi-Delhi Special (04445) will depart from Varanasi at 8:15 PM on September 4 and September 6, 2026, with an arrival time in Delhi at 11:45 AM the next day. Travellers are advised to check IRCTC for ticket availability and exact fare details before planning their festive travel.
