Devendra Nagar Churhat MEMU Service Launch Oct 24
West Central Railway to launch the Devendra Nagar Churhat MEMU service on Oct 24, connecting Panna and Sidhi districts via MP's longest tunnel.

The West Central Railway is set to enhance regional connectivity with the new Devendra Nagar Churhat MEMU service, which is scheduled for its inaugural run on October 24, 2026. This new rail link is poised to transform travel for commuters in the region.
Connecting Panna and Sidhi Districts
In a significant milestone for local infrastructure, this service marks the first time that the Panna and Sidhi districts are being integrated into the passenger rail network. The train will operate on a 117-kilometer stretch within the Lalitpur-Singrauli railway section, specifically linking the Satna-Devendra Nagar and Rewa-Churhat segments.
Passing Through Madhya Pradesh's Longest Tunnel
The commencement of this service is particularly noteworthy as it will signal the start of regular rail traffic through the longest railway tunnel in Madhya Pradesh, located on the Rewa-Churhat section. This development represents a major step forward for the state's rail connectivity.
