With the increasing passenger demand during the upcoming festival season, the Dhanbad-Jammu Tawi-Dhanbad Special train, which currently operates once a week, will now run twice a week. This move is aimed at easing the extra rush of travelers, especially on the Koderma-Gaya-DDU (Deendayal Upadhyaya)-Prayagraj-Delhi route.
Key Details About the Train Schedule
- Train number 03309 Dhanbad-Jammu Tawi Special Express will now run on both Tuesdays and Saturdays starting from October 15, 2024, until November 30, 2024.
- Similarly, train number 03310 Jammu Tawi-Dhanbad Special Express will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays, starting from October 16, 2024, until December 1, 2024.
This train passes through key stations including Gaya Junction, ensuring improved connectivity for passengers during the high-demand festive period.
Special Trains from Delhi to Bihar
In addition to the above, special trains have been scheduled between New Delhi and key stations in Bihar such as Barauni and Jaynagar to further accommodate the festive rush:
- Train number 04054/04053 New Delhi-Barauni-New Delhi Festival Special will operate on October 27, 30, and November 2 and 5, 2024.
- Departure: 14:20 from New Delhi
- Arrival: Next day at 11:00 in Barauni, with stops at important stations like Prayagraj, DDU Junction, Buxar, Ara, Patna, and Mokama.
