Dimpy Garg assumes charge as East Central Railway General Manager

Dimpy Garg has officially assumed office as the new General Manager of the East Central Railway Hajipur zone on 1 September. Taking charge of this crucial railway network is expected to bring new momentum to ongoing infrastructure and passenger amenity projects across the region. Shortly after taking over his responsibilities, Garg visited the historic and mythological Baba Hariharnath Temple located in Hariharkshetra Sonepur along with his family members, office officials, and railway staff to seek blessings.

During his visit to the revered temple, the new General Manager participated in traditional rituals and offered special prayers. According to official reports, he prayed for the steady progress and safety of the East Central Railway, the well-being of his family, and the overall development and prosperity of the Sonepur region. Temple authorities and local dignitaries warmly welcomed the senior railway official during this significant visit.

Welcome Ceremony at Sonepur Temple

Vijay Kumar Singh alias Lalla, secretary of the temple trust committee, along with co-treasurer Mithilesh Kumar Sinha, honored Dimpy Garg by presenting him with a traditional angavastra, a garland of flowers, and a memento. Several prominent personalities were present during the sacred ceremony to greet the newly appointed General Manager. Notable attendees included Sonepur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Amit Sharan, Member of Parliament representative राकेश सिंह (Rakesh Singh), temple priests, and other railway and local dignitaries.
