ECR Alert: Hatia-Patna Express Cancelled; Major Diversions for Maurya & Kumbh Express
Passengers traveling through the Bihar and Jharkhand regions are advised to plan their journeys with caution as the East Central Railway (ECR) implements significant infrastructure upgrades. Due to essential non-interlocking (NI) and pre-non-interlocking works, several train services are facing cancellations and major route diversions.
Massive Infrastructure Overhaul in Progress
To improve rail efficiency and safety, the ECR is currently commissioning new double lines and upgrading signaling systems. This critical work is being carried out at several key locations under the Danapur and Sonpur divisions, including:
