Festive Rush Alert: 102 Special Trains Announced for Dussehra & Diwali!
To tackle the massive surge in passenger numbers during the upcoming Dussehra and Diwali festivities, Indian Railways has announced a significant boost in services. The Solapur Division will operate 102 trips of festival special trains across various routes to ensure travelers can reach their destinations smoothly during the holiday season.

These special services are designed to link key destinations, providing much-needed relief to commuters traveling between major cities. Here are the detailed schedules and routes:
1. CSMT Mumbai – Chennai Beach Weekly Special
A weekly special service will run six trips to facilitate travel between Mumbai and Chennai.
- Mumbai to Chennai: Departing CSMT Mumbai at 00:35 hrs every Wednesday from October 14 to November 18. The train is scheduled to arrive at Chennai Beach at 23:30 hrs the same day.
- Chennai to Mumbai: Departing Chennai Beach at 04:00 hrs every Thursday from October 15 to November 19, arriving at CSMT Mumbai at 04:00 hrs the following day.
