Festive Travel Alert: Delhi to Howrah, Bhagalpur & Supaul Special Trains Announced!

Indian Railways is gearing up to manage the massive influx of passengers during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath Puja festivities. To ensure that travelers can reach their destinations with confirmed bookings, a series of special trains have been scheduled to connect Delhi with Howrah, Supaul, and Bhagalpur.

A Massive Plan to Handle the Festive Rush

The special services are set to operate throughout a 61-day period, spanning from October 1 to November 30, 2026. According to Dr. Shivam Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of North Central Railway, these "Train on Demand" (TOD) services are specifically designed to provide relief to passengers traveling to their hometowns.
