As of late September 2026, the service is maintaining its regular operational schedule. This high-speed link covers a distance of approximately 521 kilometers in just 6 hours and 35 minutes. Passengers departing from Gandhinagar Capital (GNC) at 14:00 can expect to reach Mumbai Central (MMCT) by 20:35.

Major Capacity Boost: More Room for Passengers
In response to growing demand, the railway has implemented significant upgrades to the service. Since May 11, 2025, the train has been upgraded to a 20-coach Vande Bharat 3.0 trainset. By incorporating three additional AC chair car coaches, the service can now accommodate over 85,000 more passengers every year.
