North Eastern Railway has announced a traffic and power block at Gorakhpur station to build a new Foot Over Bridge (FOB-A) on platforms 7 and 8. Several key trains will not reach their final destination or will start from different stations during this period. The Ahmedabad-Gorakhpur Express (19489) will end its journey at Gorakhpur Cantt from May 29 to June 7. Similarly, the Gorakhpur-Ahmedabad Express (19490) will start from Gorakhpur Cantt at 9:40 PM from May 30 to June 8. Some weekly specials and long-distance trains are also impacted as shown below:

In return, the Gorakhpur-Sabarmati Express (19410) will depart from Chhapra instead of Gorakhpur from May 30 to June 8, stopping at Siwan and Deoria Sadar before reaching Gorakhpur.
