Indian Railways approves new train stoppages at Hansi station in Haryana
Indian Railways has officially approved new train stoppages at Hansi station to significantly enhance regional connectivity across Haryana. This decision follows a detailed operational assessment of passenger demand and also includes additional halts at Patuwas Meharana and Bijainagar stations. Commuters can now look forward to seamless travel options as two major express trains and their return counterparts introduce experimental halts at Hansi.
Key train stoppage details and timings:- 14619 Agartala-Ferozpur Express: Arrives at Hansi at 3:44 PM and departs at 3:46 PM, starting September 19, 2026.
- 14620 Ferozpur-Agartala Express: Arrives at 7:00 PM and departs at 7:02 PM, starting September 14, 2026.
- 14717 Bikaner-Haridwar Express: Serves the station from 4:22 AM to 4:24 AM, starting September 15, 2026.
- 14718 Haridwar-Bikaner Express: Arrives at 1:03 AM and departs at 1:05 AM, starting September 16, 2026.
Relief for Local Commuters
Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, stated that these halts are being implemented on an experimental basis. Previously, local residents faced immense travel burdens as they had to journey to Bhiwani City, approximately 37 kilometers away, or Hisar, approximately 25 kilometers away, just to access these long-distance express services.
This thoughtful infrastructure initiative is specifically designed to improve travel convenience for everyday passengers. By bringing these services closer to home, the new schedules will provide much better rail connectivity to the northern, eastern, and western regions of the country directly from Hansi, transforming the local commuting experience.
