Haridwar-Jabalpur Puja Special: Schedule Shifted & Trip Count Slashed!
Significant changes have been made to the operational schedule and frequency of the Puja Festival Special trains (01703/01704) connecting Jabalpur and Haridwar. Passengers planning to travel during the festive season must take note of these revisions to avoid travel disruptions.
New Operational Dates and Timings
According to Mahesh Yadav, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of the Northern Railway (Moradabad Division), the service dates have been moved from the original plan of October 8 and 9, 2026. The updated schedule is as follows:
Train 01703: Jabalpur to Haridwar
- Running Days: Every Thursday
- Period: October 22 to November 19, 2026
- Departure: 3:30 PM from Jabalpur
- Arrival: 2:20 PM at Haridwar (the following day)
Train 01704: Haridwar to Jabalpur
- Running Days: Every Friday
- Period: October 23 to November 20, 2026
- Departure: 3:10 PM from Haridwar
- Arrival: 4:20 PM at Jabalpur (the following day)
Reduced Trip Frequency
In addition to the date changes, the Indian Railways has announced a reduction in the total number of services. Instead of the previous arrangement, the special trains will now operate for only five trips in each direction during the specified period.
