Hindaun City Railway Station: 12-meter wide footover bridge and escalators to be ready soon
Hindaun City railway station is getting a major makeover under the Amrit Bharat Railway Station Scheme. The construction of a 12-meter wide footover bridge (FOB) is currently in its final stage to make travel easier for passengers. The railway administration has asked the executing agency to complete the remaining redevelopment work within two months.
What are the new facilities at Hindaun City station
The new footover bridge is being built at a cost of approximately 9 crore rupees. To help passengers move between platforms without struggle, the bridge will feature escalators and lifts. Escalators will be installed on platform number one and two, while a lift will be provided on both platforms for easy access. The machines for the escalators have already arrived and will be installed soon.

When will the work be completed
Station Manager Virendra Singh confirmed that the FOB work is in the final phase. The overall redevelopment of the station, which has been ongoing for about two and a half years, is expected to be finished shortly. The footover bridge will also be decorated with Rajasthani architecture on both the inside and outside to give it a traditional look.
