50 Trains Cancelled: Major Disruptions in Chhattisgarh & MP

Indian Railways has announced a massive disruption involving the cancellation, partial cancellation, and diversion of 50 trains. This significant change will primarily affect passengers traveling through Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Odisha.

The disruptions are necessary due to essential non-interlocking and development work at the Jharsuguda Passenger Yard under the South Eastern Railway’s Chakradharpur Division. Additionally, track renovation is scheduled in the Sini-Rajkharsawan section. These maintenance works are slated to take place between November 24, 2026, and January 15, 2027, with the most intense impact occurring from November 27 to December 17, 2026.
