New Delhi to Kanpur Central Superfast Service

Train numbers 02456 and 02455 are scheduled to run four days a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The service will operate from September 7 to November 30, 2026, completing 49 trips in each direction. Train 02456 departs New Delhi at 7:45 a.m. and arrives at Kanpur Central at 1:15 p.m. The return service, train 02455, departs Kanpur Central at 3:00 p.m. and reaches New Delhi at 8:20 p.m. Both trains will make scheduled stops at Aligarh Junction and Etawah Junction.

Anand Vihar Terminal to Kanpur Central Service

Additionally, train numbers 02458 and 02457 will run between Anand Vihar Terminal and Kanpur Central three days a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. This service is scheduled from September 8 to November 29, 2026, totaling 36 trips in each direction. Train 02458 departs Anand Vihar Terminal at 8:20 a.m. and arrives at Kanpur Central at 1:15 p.m. The return service, train 02457, departs Kanpur Central at 3:00 p.m. and reaches Anand Vihar Terminal at 8:10 p.m. This route also includes stops at Aligarh Junction and Etawah Junction.

Resumption After Temporary Blocks

Passengers should note that these new services are distinct from previous operations (02456/02455 and 02458/02457) that were impacted by temporary cancellations between August 28 and September 4, 2026, due to engineering and non-interlocking blocks on the Kanpur-Tundla section. With these festive specials now on track, travellers can plan their holiday journeys smoothly and comfortably.
