The North Western Railway has introduced special train services and seamless travel arrangements to manage passenger rush for the 2026 Ramdevra Mela. Pilgrims travelling to visit Baba Ramdevji can now take advantage of multiple special train operations running alongside regular schedules. These services began on August 15, 2026, and will continue through September 26, 2026. Key details include train number 04861 running 29 trips between Bhagat ki Kothi and Ramdevra, train 04863 operating 15 trips on the same route, and the Jodhpur-Ramdevra special service 04867/68. Additionally, a Shri Ganganagar-Pokaran special train 04741/42 will complete 15 trips to boost regional connectivity.

Special Train Schedules And Routes

To accommodate the massive influx of devotees heading to Baba Ramdevji court, the North Western Railway has laid out a comprehensive operational plan. Train number 04861 Bhagat ki Kothi-Ramdevra Mela Special is scheduled for 29 trips between August 28 and September 25, 2026. Furthermore, train 04863 will provide 15 trips on the Bhagat ki Kothi-Ramdevra route from September 11 to September 25, 2026. The Jodhpur-Ramdevra special service 04867/68 remains operational from August 15 through September 16, 2026. For passengers coming from northern Rajasthan, the Shri Ganganagar-Pokaran special 04741/42 will complete 15 trips between September 12 and September 26, 2026.

Convenient Travel And Station Halts

According to NWR Chief Public Relations Officer Amit Sudarshan and Jodhpur Divisional Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi, railways have waived the requirement for prior reservations on these special trains to ensure maximum flexibility for pilgrims. The special services feature convenient halts at Jodhpur, Raikabagh, Mandor, Marwar Mathania, Tivri, Osian, Marwar Lohawat, and Phalodi. Meanwhile, the Shri Ganganagar-Pokaran special provides extended connectivity with stops at Kesrisinghpur, Srikaranpur, Gajsinghpur, Raisinghnagar, Jetsar, Suratgarh, Rajiasar, Arjansar, Mahajan, Lunkaransar, Dhirera, Lalgarh, Kolayat, Phalodi, and Ramdevra. Alongside these dedicated mela specials, regular express trains such as the Jodhpur-Bengaluru Weekly Express 16533/16507 continue to operate. Pilgrims can also board the 20492 Sabarmati-Jaisalmer Superfast Express, which departs Jodhpur Junction at 6:10 AM and reaches Ramdevra at 9:07 AM. Upon arrival at Ramdevra station, travellers can easily reach the Baba Ramdevji temple by utilizing local auto, taxi, or bus services.
