This initiative is part of a larger plan to make Indore a railway gate-free city. Similar work is already in progress at five other locations including Reti Mandi, Ban-ganga, and Mangliya. Additionally, the Indore Development Authority is working on widening the existing overbridge at MR-10 to further support the growing urban traffic needs.
