Indore Railway Station is undergoing a massive transformation under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme to provide world-class facilities to travelers. With an estimated budget of 412 crore, the project aims to turn the station into a high-tech travel hub similar to an airport. Key Modern Facilities and Infrastructure Upgrades
The redevelopment plan includes several advanced features designed for the comfort of thousands of daily commuters. The new station building will be a seven-story structure equipped with modern amenities to handle increasing passenger traffic over the next 50 years. Local authorities and railway engineers are closely monitoring the quality of work to meet the 2027 completion deadline for the first phase.

The Ahmedabad-based Monte Carlo company is executing the work under the supervision of Western Railway engineers. Once completed, the station is expected to handle more than one lakh passengers every day comfortably.
