Indian Railways has announced temporary stoppages for several major trains at the Indragarh Sumerganj Mandi station, located under the Kota division. This initiative is specifically designed to facilitate travel for pilgrims and commuters during the upcoming Navratri festivities.
Relief for Navratri Pilgrims
To manage the expected surge in passenger traffic during the festive season, the railway authorities have introduced these special halts for a duration of 16 days. The temporary stoppages will remain in effect from October 8 to October 23, 2026.
The decision aims to provide easier access to the station for travelers attending the Navratri fair, ensuring much-needed convenience for those moving through the region during this busy period.
