Indian Railways Launches Jaipur Mathura Special Train for Janmashtami Festival

Indian Railways has introduced a special unreserved train service between Jaipur and Mathura to help passengers travel smoothly during the busy Janmashtami festival. Janmashtami 2026 is observed on September 4, and this special service will run for three days from September 3 to September 5, 2026, following official announcements made on September 1 and September 2, 2026.

Train 0: Service and Schedule Details

The special train is made up of 17 coaches in total, including 15 general class coaches and two guard coaches to manage the festive rush. The outward journey from Jaipur starts at 13:00 and reaches Mathura at 18:50. For the return journey, the train departs from Mathura at 20:00 and arrives back in Jaipur at 02:35 the following day.

Train 0: Route and Halts

To help travellers from different towns, the train will make scheduled stops at 14 stations along its route. Key stops include Gandhi Nagar Jaipur, Getor Jagatpura, Dausa, Bandikui, Rajgarh, Malakheda, Alwar, Ramgarh, Govindgarh, Brijnagar, Deeg, and Govardhan. This thoughtful routing ensures easy connectivity for devotees heading to Mathura and Govardhan for the celebrations.
