Train operations face major disruptions at Jhansi station until December

Train passengers travelling through Uttar Pradesh should note that railway operations at the Virangana Laxmibai Jhansi railway station will face significant disruptions from November 20 to December 29 due to the construction of a ballast-less track on Platform Number 1. This crucial infrastructure upgrade will impact the transit of 28 trains in total across the division. Travellers are advised to check their train schedules in advance to avoid any last-minute inconvenience during this period.
As part of the operational adjustments implemented by the railways, four trains have been fully canceled, while the routes of 17 trains will be diverted to maintain smooth traffic flow through alternative corridors. Additionally, four trains will be short-terminated or originate from altered stations, two trains will be delayed by one hour, and one train has been rescheduled with a 30-minute delay. Notably, the popular Lucknow Intercity is among the services affected, now departing 30 minutes behind its original schedule.
