Jhansi to Mathura: Virangana Lakshmibai Express Route Extended!
Indian Railways has announced a significant service expansion aimed at boosting connectivity between the regions of Jhansi, Agra, and Mathura. The Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi-Agra Cantt Express, operating under train numbers 11901 and 11902, is being extended to Mathura station.
Increased Distance and New Stops
This strategic extension increases the total journey distance from 217 kilometers to 270 kilometers. To facilitate easier travel for passengers in the newly added section, the railway has introduced four new commercial stoppages:
- Raja ki Mandi
- Runkuta
- Deen Dayal Dham
- Baad
Revised Train Timings
Commuters should refer to the following updated schedules to plan their trips effectively:
Train 11901 (Jhansi to Mathura)
- Departure: Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi at 4:00 PM
- Arrival: Mathura at 11:00 PM
Train 11902 (Mathura to Jhansi)
- Departure: Mathura at 5:05 AM
- Arrival: Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi at 12:50 PM
The initiative is designed to provide improved travel options and better rail access for passengers commuting between these key locations, ensuring more seamless movement across the Jhansi, Agra, and Mathura corridors.
