Jodhpur-Gorakhpur Festive Special: New Weekly Train via Rewari to Ease Holiday Travel!
To manage the massive influx of passengers during the upcoming festive season, Indian Railways has announced a new weekly special train service connecting Jodhpur and Gorakhpur. This service is designed to bridge the gap between Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh, completing nine trips in each direction.
Service Schedule and Timings
The festive special service will operate on the following schedule:
- Train No. 04829 (Jodhpur to Gorakhpur): This train will run every Thursday from October 1, 2026, to November 26, 2026. It is scheduled to depart Jodhpur at 4:15 PM and arrive in Gorakhpur at 8:30 PM the following day.
- Train No. 04830 (Gorakhpur to Jodhpur): This return service will operate every Friday from October 2, 2026, to November 27, 2026. It will depart Gorakhpur at 11:25 PM and is expected to reach Jodhpur at 5:30 AM on the third day of the journey.
Route and Major Station Halts
The train will consist of 20 coaches and will travel via Rewari. The route includes several key stops to serve passengers across multiple states:
- Merta Road and Degana
- Churu and Sadulpur
- Loharu and Mahendragarh
- Gurgaon and Delhi Cantt
- Old Delhi and Ghaziabad
- Moradabad and Bareilly
- Lucknow and Ayodhya Cantt

- Basti and Khalilabad

- Rewari: The train will arrive at 2:30 AM and depart at 2:40 AM.
