Jodhpur-Ramdevra Mela Special Trains: Service Ends After Sept 25
The North Western Railway has confirmed that the special train services connecting Jodhpur and Ramdevra will be discontinued following the conclusion of the Ramdevra Mela. These services, which were specifically organized to handle the surge in travelers during the festivities, are set to remain operational only until September 25.
Reason for Discontinuation
The decision to withdraw these special services comes as a result of a sharp drop in passenger volume once the fair ended. Since the demand for rail travel on this route has significantly decreased post-festival, the railway administration has decided to pull back the temporary fleet.
