Passengers planning to travel via long-distance special services between North and South India will face significant disruptions. The North Central Railway has officially announced the cancellation of multiple trips for two key pairs of special weekly trains due to essential infrastructure upgrades.
Why are the trains cancelled?
The cancellations are necessitated by ongoing yard remodeling work at Agasod station. This critical infrastructure project is located within the Bhopal division of the West Central Railway. The remodeling work is scheduled to impact train movements from late September through mid-October 2026.
