Commuters traveling between Kanpur and the National Capital Region (NCR) have a major reason to celebrate. The Ministry of Railways has officially greenlit a brand-new daily overnight mail train service designed to bridge the gap between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar Terminal.
Enhanced Connectivity Across 428 Kilometers
Announced on September 24, 2026, this new service—operating under Train Numbers 14153 and 14154—is set to provide a much-needed travel boost for passengers moving through Uttar Pradesh and into the Delhi metropolitan area. The train will cover a total distance of 428 kilometers, offering a reliable link for those heading to the capital.
To ensure maximum accessibility, the service will make eight scheduled commercial halts in both directions, serving the following key locations:
- Phaphund
- Etawah
- Tundla
- Hathras
- Aligarh
- Khurja
- Dadri
- Ghaziabad
Perfectly Timed for Overnight Convenience
The schedule has been meticulously planned to allow travelers to rest during the journey and arrive at their destinations refreshed in the early morning hours.
Train 14153: Kanpur Central to Anand Vihar Terminal
For those departing from Kanpur, the train will leave Kanpur Central at 8:40 p.m. and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 4:50 a.m. the following day. This journey is expected to take approximately 8 hours and 10 minutes.
Train 14154: Anand Vihar Terminal to Kanpur Central
The return service is equally convenient for travelers heading back. Train 14154 is scheduled to depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:25 p.m., arriving at Kanpur Central at 7:25 a.m. the next morning, completing the trip in a swift 8 hours.
