During his review, the Minister emphasized that every detail of the train has been meticulously planned to prioritize passenger comfort and operational efficiency.
Enhanced Passenger Comfort and Accessibility
A major focus of the new sleeper service is the ergonomic design of the coaches. The Minister highlighted that special attention was given to making the middle and upper berths more accessible. To ensure a smooth experience, the train features specially designed stairs to help passengers climb onto their berths comfortably.
Other key amenities for passengers include:
- Dedicated charging points for both upper and lower berth occupants.

- Separate storage facilities within the coaches.
"The Vande Bharat Sleeper is an excellent service for overnight journeys. It has been designed with great care; every detail was considered during the design process," said Ashwini Vaishnaw.
