On-Board Housekeeping (OBHS) staff at major hubs including
Kharagpur, Santragachi, Mecheda, and Balasore. These sessions emphasized high sanitation standards, proper waste disposal, and source segregation of garbage. Additionally, members of the DCA performed an engaging street play or
Nukkad Natak at the Kharagpur station circulating area, spreading vital messages about cleanliness and active public participation to passengers.
The campaign has also seen enthusiastic participation from railway schools within the Kharagpur division. To inspire the younger generation, various events such as
painting competitions, debates, and extempore speeches centred around the theme of Swachhata Hi Seva were organized.
