Khatipura-Kolkata Special Trains: New Route Announced!
Indian Railways has modified the route for Khatipura-Kolkata special trains 09709/09710. Check new details for passengers traveling via DDU and Asansol.

Indian Railways has announced a significant modification to the operational route for the weekly Khatipura Kolkata Special Trains. This adjustment specifically impacts the services operating under train numbers 09709 and 09710.
Route Diversion via DDU and Asansol
The special trains will now transit through a modified path between Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) Junction and Asansol. This change is expected to influence travel arrangements for passengers in the Bandikui and Bharatpur regions who utilize the corridor connecting Rajasthan and West Bengal.
According to railway officials, these route adjustments are being implemented due to ongoing infrastructure projects. Such projects often necessitate temporary operational changes or the diversion of services to alternative stations to ensure smooth progress and safety.
