This appeal was made during the GM’s inspection visit to the Araria-Galgaliya railway section at Araria Court.
Why is the Kolhua railway halt needed?
Currently, there is a 15-kilometer gap between Laxmipur and Bardaha stations, which creates significant travel problems for local people. Kolhua village is centrally located among 35 nearby villages. Since the area is prone to flooding, road connectivity often fails, making a railway halt a reliable alternative for transport.
