Under the ambitious Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Kota Junction is undergoing a massive transformation with a sanctioned budget of Rs 207.63 crore to provide passengers with a world-class experience.

Construction Progress and Timeline
Work is moving at a rapid pace to ensure the project meets its deadline of December 2026. According to Kota Division Railway Manager (DRM) Anil Kalra, the construction is being carried out in two shifts with a dedicated workforce of over 400 personnel on the ground.
Significant progress has already been made, with Platform 4 fully completed. Current efforts are now heavily concentrated on the modernization of Platform 3.
