The project was executed by the Setu Nigam with funding and monitoring from the PWD. The bridge is 589.30 meters long and 7.50 meters wide, featuring two lanes. To ensure smooth movement, service roads of 3.75 meters width have been built on both sides. The total cost of this project was ₹43.19 crore.

Previously, the Harouni railway crossing closed more than 50 times a day, causing massive traffic jams. Commuters had to travel an extra six kilometers to bypass the crossing. Now, the bridge directly connects Mohan and Kanpur Road, making travel faster toward Hasanganj, Hardoi, and Sitapur Road.
