IR-NIYANTRAC is a self-developed app linked to the Centre of Railway Informatics System (CRIS) cloud server. It uses GSM-based 3G and 4G modules to connect station equipment to a central control room. This setup allows officials to monitor and control electrical assets in real-time without needing to be physically present at the site.

The system will manage various electrical items to ensure they are only used when needed. The project is being rolled out in phases starting with major hubs and stations under the Amrit Bharat Yojana.
